Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 2025
At brexaliviora, we understand that your financial data is sensitive. When you're analyzing liquidity and solvency metrics for your business, you're sharing information that matters. This policy explains how we handle that responsibility.
We're based in Australia and follow Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988. This isn't just legal compliance—it's about building trust with the businesses we serve.
What Information We Collect
Financial analysis requires data. Here's what we gather and why we need it.
Information You Give Us Directly
When you sign up or use our platform, you provide details like your name, email address, phone number, and business information. If you're uploading financial statements for analysis, that data stays within your secure account.
Financial Data You Upload
Our service analyzes balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial documents. We process this information to generate liquidity ratios, solvency metrics, and trend analyses. The data remains yours—we're just running the calculations.
Technical Information
Like most websites, we collect some technical details automatically: IP addresses, browser types, device information, and how you interact with our platform. This helps us fix bugs and improve performance.
Account Data
Name, email, phone, company name, billing details, and preferences you set within your account.
Financial Records
Uploaded documents, calculated ratios, historical comparisons, and saved reports you generate.
Usage Patterns
Pages visited, features used, time spent analyzing data, and patterns that help us improve the platform.
How We Use Your Information
Every piece of data has a purpose. We don't collect things just to have them.
- Provide the financial analysis services you signed up for
- Calculate liquidity ratios, working capital metrics, and solvency indicators
- Send you reports, alerts, and notifications about your account
- Improve our algorithms and add features based on how people actually use the platform
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support
- Prevent fraud and keep the platform secure
- Comply with Australian financial regulations and legal requirements
We don't sell your financial data to third parties. That's not our business model and never will be.
Data Storage and Security
Financial information needs serious protection. Here's what we do to keep your data safe.
Where Your Data Lives
We use cloud servers located in Australia. Your financial documents are encrypted both when they're stored and when they're being transmitted. We use industry-standard AES-256 encryption for storage and TLS 1.3 for data in transit.
Access Controls
Only authorized brexaliviora staff can access systems containing user data, and even then, access is limited to what each person needs to do their job. We log all access attempts and review them regularly.
Security Measures We've Implemented
Two-factor authentication for all accounts, regular security audits by external firms, automated backup systems running daily, intrusion detection monitoring 24/7, and strict employee access policies with background checks.
No system is completely bulletproof. If we ever experience a data breach that affects your information, we'll notify you within 72 hours and explain what happened and what we're doing about it.
Sharing Your Information
We don't share your financial data casually. But there are a few situations where sharing is necessary or legally required.
Service Providers
We work with vendors who help run the platform—cloud hosting, payment processing, email services. These companies only get access to data they need to provide their specific service, and they're contractually required to protect it.
Legal Requirements
If Australian authorities issue a valid legal request, we may need to provide information. We'll notify you when legally permitted to do so.
Business Transfers
If brexaliviora is acquired or merges with another company, your data would transfer to the new entity. We'd notify you beforehand and explain any changes to how your information is handled.
| Third Party | Purpose | Data Shared |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud Infrastructure | Hosting and storage | Encrypted financial documents and account data |
| Payment Processors | Billing and subscriptions | Payment details and transaction history |
| Email Service | Communications | Email address and notification preferences |
| Analytics Tools | Platform improvement | Anonymized usage patterns |
Your Rights and Choices
This is your data. You have rights over how it's used and stored.
Access Your Information
You can download all your data at any time through your account dashboard. This includes uploaded documents, generated reports, and account details. Just log in and go to Settings > Export Data.
Correct Inaccurate Data
Found a mistake in your account information? You can edit most details directly in your account settings. For changes to your financial documents, simply upload corrected versions.
Delete Your Account
Want to close your account? Contact us at info@brexaliviora.com and we'll delete your data within 30 days. We're legally required to keep some records for tax and regulatory purposes, but we'll delete everything we're allowed to remove.
Opt Out of Communications
You'll receive essential service emails about your account, but marketing messages are optional. Unsubscribe links are in every promotional email, or adjust your preferences in account settings.
Australian Privacy Rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request corrections, complain about privacy breaches, and request that we stop using your data for direct marketing. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. Nothing invasive.
Essential cookies keep the platform working—they remember your login session and settings you've chosen. Analytics cookies help us understand which features people use most, so we know where to focus development efforts. These are anonymized and don't identify you personally.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but the platform won't work properly without the essential ones. We don't use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data to third parties.
Data Retention
We don't keep your data forever. Here's how long different types of information stick around.
- Active account data: Kept as long as your account is open
- Financial documents: Stored until you delete them or close your account
- Transaction records: Retained for seven years to comply with Australian tax law
- Support correspondence: Kept for three years to help resolve any follow-up issues
- Usage logs: Deleted after 18 months unless needed for security investigations
When we delete data, it's gone from our active systems and backups within 90 days. Some information might persist in archived backups for a short time, but it's not accessible or used.
Children's Privacy
brexaliviora is a business financial analysis tool. It's not designed for or marketed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a child has provided personal information, we'll delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
Privacy practices evolve. Technology changes. Regulations update. When we make significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Minor updates that don't affect how we handle your data might not trigger an email, but we'll always post the current version here. We recommend checking this page occasionally, especially if it's been a while since you last reviewed it.
International Data Transfers
We primarily serve Australian businesses and keep data within Australia. If you're accessing brexaliviora from outside Australia, your information will be transferred to and stored on our Australian servers.
Australia has data protection standards that meet international requirements. If we ever need to transfer data to countries with different privacy laws, we'll use appropriate safeguards like standard contractual clauses.
